Short version: we keep the minimum needed to run the Inferno waitlist, we don't sell it, no emails are sent yet, and you can remove yourself at any time.
Who this covers
Vulcan's Inferno is the casino of Vulcan Forged. This notice covers the pre-launch waitlist on vulcaninferno.com — the only thing this site does with personal data today.
What we store when you register
- Your email address — so we can tell you about Inferno if and when it opens.
- Your PYR wallet address, only if you add one. This is a public address; never give anyone a seed phrase or secret key.
- Your country, worked out from your IP address at the moment you register.
- A one-way hash of your IP address — not the address itself — to spot duplicate and automated sign-ups.
- Your browser type (the user-agent string your browser sends).
- How you arrived: the referral code of any share link you used, and campaign tags (utm parameters) in the link.
- Your place on the list, the time you registered, and your own referral code.
Why we store it
Only to run the waitlist and contact you about Inferno:
- to count registrations toward the 300 gate and work out the order of the Founders 100;
- to recognise PYR holdings if and when Inferno opens, if you added a wallet;
- to keep the list honest by filtering duplicate, automated and test sign-ups;
- to tell you about Inferno. No emails are sent yet.
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it for advertising.
Our lawful basis
We rely on your consent, which you give when you register. You can withdraw it at any time by removing yourself (see below); that doesn't affect anything done before you withdrew.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel hosts this website and handles the requests your browser sends when you register.
- Supabase hosts the database the waitlist is stored in.
They process the data only to provide those services to us, not for their own purposes.
What stays on your device
This site saves a few small records in your browser's storage. Before you register: any referral code and campaign tags from the link you arrived on, your recently viewed and favourite games, and whether you've already seen the "why can't I play" note this visit. After you register: your referral code, your place on the list, whether you're a Founder, a masked version of your email, a masked wallet if you added one, your referral count, and a private removal code (not a wallet key; it can't move funds) that lets this device add a wallet or remove you. These let you see your status when you come back. Clearing your browser data removes them. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser requests those files from Google's servers.
How long we keep it
Waitlist data is kept only while the waitlist exists; if Inferno doesn't go ahead, we intend to delete it. If Inferno opens, you'll be told what happens next before anything changes. The exact retention period will be published here before launch.
Removing yourself
- Use Remove my sign-up in the success panel on the device you registered with. It deletes your sign-up straight away.
- Or ask through Vulcan Forged's official channels, and we'll remove it for you.
You can also ask through the same channels to see the data we hold about you or to correct it. Depending on where you live, data-protection law may give you further rights; we'll honour them.
Changes
If this notice changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
